Welcome. I am Paul Urbanski, an Edmonton-based editorial and commercial photographer, designer, and visual storyteller. Through a blend of high-contrast aesthetics, cinematic and intentional framing, I create compelling visual narratives for brands, publications, and independent creative projects.
My work spans across multiple mediums, with a core focus on studio and environmental portraiture, profile photography, and editorial design. Whether working on an advertising campaign, a magazine spread, or a detailed brand profile, my goal is to capture the quiet, authentic essence of a subject and their environment.
Rooted in Western Canada, much of my imagery explores the unique textures, challenges, and beauty of local landscapes and human stories. Beyond client work, I am deeply passionate about the tangible value of physical media, frequently channeling my experimental photography, audio, and video projects into self-published books and print magazines.
From initial creative briefs to final color grading, I collaborate closely with brands and creators to build powerful visual identities.
