Provincial Background

As picturesque these landscapes can be, there is always something else in the background, on the backroads, the industrial areas — it’s plain and ordinary, but charming and familiar.

These places have presence and signs of life; traces of past aspirations. Today, we just drive by trying to get to a much more familiar place.

A glimpse of places we stopped by, in the beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Nestled in the valleys, between the mountains and foothills, crossing highways, it’s hard to escape the visual representation of human activity.
