Four different frames, through the window of our hotel room. The view does not change. Most of the evening we see traffic and our own reflections. Windows across the street stay lit all night long, it’s a retail store selling home decor. They close early but leave their lights on throughout the night.
I close the blinds for a while but peak through to see if anything changed. room reflects back, it becomes harder to see the street. The noise becomes more prominent but dies down later in the night.
Four frames, that’s all it takes, photos that describe boredom and fatigue after a busy day and the anticipation for the next.
