Personal style in photography, I don’t think is exclusively visual style; angles, colors, composition. For me, personal style is defined by subject, location and overall message.
“Timeline” seems to define my style as much as anything. You won’t find a consistent look, a recognizable signature, I try to mix thing up as much as possible.

Black and white images, mixed with colors, even if the tone of images are consistent, I would not necessary call it a personal style. This is mostly my subjects, the environment, and the medium.
I find personal touches, such as hand-written notes to be important accents that define the style. Books are the best storage of memories and experiences, these can be easily accessed anytime with your hands. This medium is so important as it has the ability to change how you look at things; that has the power to shape your style.

Designing and sequencing every page makes the whole process more intimate and bit more personal. I like this process of presenting work as it makes you revisit these moments and what made them special.
“Timeline” is my latest book that is more of a collection of memories from the past few years. As time goes on, life gets more complicated, this might be the last one for me in a while.
